1601 verifies the data from schools, such as school name and contact information.
Education Data Exchange (EDX) has replaced 1601 collection process. Rather than submitting change forms to the Ministry, the information can be updated on EDX. Click here to see how to update 1601 information in EDX.
Information updates in EDX will auto-populate the new School & District Contact Information (SDCI) page. Therefore, it is important that public facing information remains accurate.
School information (name and address) will now be used for the production and distribution of student transcripts and graduation certificates and therefore it is important that any changes to school information is updated in EDX as soon as possible
