Section 2 - Set Your Preferences

  1. Go to the top right corner of the screen and click on the "Set Preferences" tab
  2. Select the "General" tab
    1. Set your Default locale to US (Not Canada)
    2. If presented with a choice, choose your default view (staff for teachers or school for clerical/admin).
    3. If you have more than one school select a default school.
    4. Leave the auto save interval at 5
    5. DO NOT CHECK THE DISABLE HELP BUTTON
    6. Records per page is recommended at 30 for teachers
    7. Check the show lower page control checkbox
    8. Check the warn on save checkbox
  3. Click on the "Security" tab
    1. Enter your SD42 email as your primary email
    2. Do not enter an alternate email
    3. Select a security question
    4. Enter your security answer
    5. Confirm your security answer
    6. Click "OK"
    7. You will be prompted to enter your current password (the one you just created when you logged in)
